The things you learn...

Science fairs are an excellent opportunity to see the work your student's parents and siblings can do. HA. My kids really took ownership of there presentations though, and my goodness-- the ideas they came up with!

I now know that:
  • jello made with urine, Guiness, or tonic glows under a black light
  • if you put a Mento in a bottle of coke it'll burst
  • yeast eats Stevia
  • long paper airplanes fly the farthest
  • oranges can grow a lot of mold
  • home-made water purification systems don't guarantee potable water
  • it's not a good idea to assign a science fair projects over winter break if you can avoid it
