Not quite a crowing rooster.

I slept on the balcony and woke up next to a squirrel. Go figure.

If I could live there, I would.

Sweet Boulder's Chautaqua [(Chat-uh-coo-uh), as I like to say] park.

Utter Magnificence.

Pianos are a girl's best friend (and accessory).

Long evenings.

4:00-9:00 is a loooooooong time to be in class. Especially when it is mostly lecture. Last night, I thought that I was going to burst when ten minutes before we were supposed to be dismissed, the professor introduced an entire new topic and activity. Fortunately, our activities can also be done by elementary schoolers, so they are usually quite creative and amusing :).

My blessing in the next room.

For the absence of judgement and disapproval in our relationship... for your constant presence in our conversation... for so gently holding our fragile hearts... for the music that we share... for our long evening strolls... for our dysfunctional families... for the roof over our heads and the food in our fridge... for Squirt... for continuously showing me yourself in her... for the tears we shed together...for the appreciation for the small things you give us... for humility... for our helplessness...for being dependable when no one else is... for showing us joy in pain and love in sorrow... for the love we share...for the wisdom she imparts...

Thank you. Thank you for Shazia and for giving me a hand to hold.
